- The waning gibbous Snow Moon reaches perigee, its closest distance to Earth at 365,871km, which will make the approaching full moon on February 1st appear slightly bigger than average: 2:07 PM

- Catch the waning gibbous Snow Moon next to Jupiter, Castor and Pollux. The Moon cozies up to the bright gas giant and the two bright twins of the constellation Gemini high in the eastern sky around 7:00 PM
