- The waxing crescent Beaver Moon reaches apogee, it’s farthest distance from Earth at 406,444km, at 12:00 AM UT
- Standley Lake Stargazing: Haunted History Hike – Telescope Viewing at Visitor Center (Registration required): 📍 Eldorado Canyon State Park: 6:00 PM

- Catch the waxing crescent Beaver Moon hovering above the spout of the Teapot, the asterism in the constellation Sagittarius low in the southwestern sky around 7:00 PM.

- Orionids (ORI): last hour before dawn in northeastern Orion: Up to 10Â per hour.
- Southern Taurids (STA): 1:00 AM in southeastern Aries: 3 per hour.
- Lambda Ursa Majorids (LUM): last hour before dawn in southern Ursa Major: 1 per hour.
- Leonis Minorids (LMI): last few hours before dawn in northeastern Leo Minor,: 1 per hour.
- epsilon Geminids (EGE): last few hours before dawn in northwestern Gemini: 1 per hour.
- Northern Taurids (NTA): 2:00 AM in central Aries: Less than 1 per hour.
