- Look for the waxing Flower Moon near Regulus in Leo high in the southern sky.

- Look for Mars right next to the Beehive Cluster (M 44) in the western skies throughout this whole week.
May 8:

- Standlely Lake Stargazing Virtual Program (Virtual Lecture) – 6PM (Zoom link).

- Look for the waxing Gibbous Flower Moon right next to Spica in the constellation Virgo in the southern sky around 11:00 PM.
May 10:
- Moon at apogee (farthest from Earth) at 7PM MDT (distance 406,244km; angular size 29.4′).
May 11:
