The Northern Cross
The Northern Cross
  • As summer grows more and more near, look for the Northern Cross asterism rising earlier in the night sky. The Northern Cross is a bright, cross-shaped asterism in the summer sky along the Milky Way, forming part of the constellation Cygnus, the Swan. Its stars include Deneb at the top, Albireo at the base, and Aljanah, Sadr, and Fawaris marking the arms of the cross.
