Public Nights at the Chamberlin

Astronomy Night at Chamberlin Observatory

The Denver Astronomical Society hosts weekly and monthly events* at the University of Denver’s historic Chamberlin Observatory, which features its prized 1894 Alvan Clark-Saegmuller 20-inch refracting telescope.

The Observatory serves as DAS’ home base for numerous Public Nights, Open Houses, Executive Board Meetings, and special events throughout the year.

*Tickets are required. You can purchase your tickets HERE.

  • 70% of the tickets for any given month go on sale two months in advance.
  • The remaining 30% of tickets will be unlocked on the first day of the month in which the event takes place.
