So far, Saturday’s weather is looking promising. The observing highlight this month will be the planet Jupiter and its four Galilean moons.

As usual, there will be a special space set aside for hands-on experience with telescopes for both young and old. If you need help with your telescope, please bring it along.

The views of Jupiter through the vintage 1894 Clark-Saegmuller 20-inch refractor can be awesome. And you’ll have a chance to request views of Jupiter and other objects courtesy of the DAS volunteers who will be set up on the South lawn.

Don’t miss this.
