DESCRIPTION:Looking for a FREE fun family activity?  \nJoin the Denver Astronomical Society for our monthly Open House on Saturday, July 18th, at dusk. This event will take place on the south lawn of DU’s historic Chamberlin Observatory, located at 2930 E. Warren Avenue, Denver.\nWeather permitting, look through the observatory’s 20-inch Alvan Clark-Saegmuller refractor telescope and meet fellow amateur stargazers with telescopes on the lawn out front.\nIf you need to learn how to use your new telescope, come early, bring it with you, and ask our members for assistance as they set up before dark. Don’t have your own telescope yet? No problem! Join members of the DAS on the park lawn, just south of the observatory building, to view the night sky’s gems through various members’ telescopes.\n** No tickets or reservations required! **\nLawn activity starts at dusk.
